Known as the Knowledge Quad, the skills hub is providing:
- Accredited construction, civils and groundwork bootcamps
- Hands-on retrofit training
- School and college site visits
- Youthbuild UK learning sessions
- T-Level student placements
To date, the bootcamp programmes have helped 35 people to secure an accreditation to get them “work ready”. This forms a key part of LS Estates’ commitment to ensuring 17CC creates long-term opportunities for people in Tower Hamlets.
From early 2026, the Knowledge Quad will expand its offer even further, bringing new accredited programmes to residents across Tower Hamlets. More training, more opportunity, and more local talent stepping confidently into the world of construction.

Over the coming months, we will be undertaking a comprehensive and transparent three stage consultation programme, reviewing all feedback received throughout, and where possible, incorporating this into the final proposals prior to submitting an application to Winchester City Council.
